Ready to dive deeper into your understanding and experience of yoga? Our comprehensive training is for those who aspire to teach and also for those looking to deepen their practice and study of yoga. Our accessible training schedule spans over the winter months to help accommodate your schedule and lifestyle. Join us for a journey of learning and self-inquiry and get ready to be inspired doing what you love.

In a nourishing and intimate environment, this 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training will provide you with the skills in leadership, listening and facilitation that will serve you well in yoga, as well as other aspects of your life. It also prepares you to take on the role of the teacher by providing you with a well-rounded Yoga Alliance approved curriculum that includes:

  • Asana Study - exploring alignment, cues, modifications, assists, Sanskrit names

  • Physical, spiritual and psychological aspects of asana

  • Meditation

  • Pranayama (breathing techniques)

  • Anatomy and physiology as it relates to yoga - physical and subtle body

  • Yoga philosophy - including the eight limbs of yoga and their daily application for balanced living

  • Classic yogic texts- including the Bhagavad Gita, The Yoga Sutras, Buddhist teachings and more

  • The history of yoga including various approaches and styles

  • The ethics of yoga

  • The business of Yoga

  • Teaching methodology - skills and techniques

  • The art of sequencing and theming classes

  • Adjustments and assists - both verbal and physical

  • Teaching practice - finding your voice

  • Teaching special populations - injuries, prenatal yoga, trauma sensitivity and more

  • Restorative Yoga

  • Boundaries and self care for yoga teachers

  • Mantra and Chanting

  • Seva (service)

  • Ayurveda
